What we collect

• Account details: name, email, college, city and phone number.
• Verification data: college email confirmation and the government ID used for KYC.
• Work data: gigs applied to, hours logged, ratings and badges earned.
• Payment data: UPI handle for payouts. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partner and are never stored on our servers.
• Website enquiries: anything you type into the contact form on this site.
• Usage data: device type, pages visited and errors, used to fix and improve the product.

Why we collect it

To verify that you are a student, to match you with gigs, to move money correctly, to investigate fraud, to answer your enquiries and to meet our legal obligations.

What employers see

Employers see your profile, skills, badges, ratings and availability. They never see your ID document, ID number, home address or payment details.

Who else sees your data

• Payment and KYC providers, strictly to complete verification and payouts.
• Partner colleges, in aggregate only — and individually only with your explicit consent.
• Law enforcement, where legally required.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account is active, plus the period required by Indian financial record-keeping rules. Verification documents are retained encrypted and deleted on request once no active gig depends on them. Website enquiries are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@initi8now.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw consent at any time, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses no advertising trackers. The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, and basic analytics to understand which pages help. If we add website analytics, we will name the provider here first.

Children

Initi8Now is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell account holders by email where the change is significant.
