For students.
Is it really free? +
Yes. There is no registration fee, no application fee and no placement fee. If anyone asks you for money in our name, report it to info@initi8now.com straight away.
Who can join? +
Any student aged 18 or over, enrolled at a recognised Indian institution. We started with IITs and NITs and are onboarding colleges across every state.
How do you verify employers? +
Five checks: business identity, a human reading the listing, escrow funding, a location and safety check, and post-gig scoring. A listing that fails any step never goes live. The safety page sets out each one.
When and how do I get paid? +
The employer funds escrow before applications open. Once your work is approved, the payout reaches your linked UPI account within 24 hours.
What if the employer refuses to pay? +
The money is already held in escrow, so it is not theirs to withhold. A disputed delivery goes to review, and escrow is released, split or returned based on your logged hours and the evidence.
What are skill badges? +
Verified marks on your profile earned by finishing real gigs. Unlike a CV line, an employer can see where each one came from.
Will this clash with my classes? +
You set the hours you are free and matching respects them. Late-night and isolated-site work is not accepted on the platform at all.
When do I get app access? +
Early access rolls out in batches, college by college. Fill in the 20-second form and you will get verified job drops by email in the meantime.
For employers.
How long does it take to post a role? +
About five minutes to write it, and one working day for us to verify your company before it goes live.
What will you ask me for? +
CIN/GST or equivalent, a company-domain email for the hiring contact, clear role terms, and your payment terms. Listings with unpaid “trial” work are declined.
What does it cost? +
Listing is free. A flat platform fee applies to released escrow at public launch, and it is 0% during early access. See pricing.
What if a student does not deliver? +
Escrow is only released on your approval, or through our dispute process. We will also find a replacement.
For colleges.
What does a campus partnership involve? +
Your placement cell gets a live view of student earnings and skills, an alumni-to-student referral bridge, and campus-only boards. It is free for partner institutions.
Do you share individual student data with us? +
Only in aggregate, unless a student explicitly consents to share their own record. That rule is written into our privacy policy.
